- 2 cups flour
 
  - 2 eggs
 
  - 3/4 cups milk
 
  - Salt, thyme, chives to taste
 
  
  - Combine ingredients, mix until uniform, let sit 5 mins. 
 
  - Form dumplings with spätzle-press into boiling water. When floating, remove and place in ice water.
  
  - Remove from water and mix dumplings with oil to store until ready to sauté in butter or animal fat until golden brown. Serve with gravy. Serves 2-3.
