- 4 large potatoes (peeled)
- 1 T butter
- 1 T onion/green onion
- 1/4 cup Cheddar (x2)
- Garlic
- 1 cup peas
- 1 T oil
- 5 carrots
- 1 onion
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 T Ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup worchestershire
- 1 packet gravy mix
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Boil potatoes 15 minutes, mash, mix with cheddar and green onion, season.
- Saute onions, garlic, and carrots in oil, add beef. Pour off fat then add gravy, water, ketchup, worchestershire, and simmer for 5 minutes. Add steamed peas last.
- Spread in casserole and top with potatoes and cheese. Can also consider topping with bacon bits, paprika, or crushed potato chips
- Bake for 20 minutes
