- 1.5 cups AP flour
- 3.5 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 1 and 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp salt, or more to taste
- Mix in other choice ingredients such as blueberries or other fruit, cinnamon, etc.
- Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt together in a large bowl
- Make a well in the center and add milk, melted butter, and egg and mix until smooth
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or pan over medium high heat and pour or scoop batter onto griddle, approximately 1/4 cup per pancake
- Cook until bubbles form and edges are dry, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side. Repeat with remaining batter.
