- 6 medium russet potatoes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- salt
- pepper
- Chives (optional)
- Garlic (optional)
- Bacon bits (optional)
- If desired, peel potatoes. Cube and cover with water in saucepan.
- Cover and boil 20-25 mins. Drain well.
- Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Mash until light and fluffy.
- Mix in optional ingredients as desired
