- Sourdough or focaccia; a good rustic white bread
- Sliced tomato (heirloom is best; romas are OK too)
- Fresh mozzarella (the balls in the liquid)
- Fresh Genovese basil
- Good extra virgin olive oil
- Toast the bread. Assemble: bread, tomato slices, mozzarella slices, basil leavs, drizzle with EVOO.
