As an undergraduate at Berkeley, I took a paleontology course from Dr. Kevin Padian, one of the world's leading paleontologists, and it only confirmed the well-established fact that dinosaurs and ancient life are amazingly awesome. Hence, I, along with my good friend Philip Kahn, taught a DeCal (Democratic Education at Cal) class dedicated to ancient life, namely Saurischia (Phil's specialty) and marine reptiles (mine).
